Alkaliproof stekloroving of ARG ROVING

The main component of a steklofibrobeton is a fiber glass. It reinforces concrete and gives unique operational characteristics to steklofibrobetonny products.

Alkali resistance of fiber glass is defined, mainly, by the content of dioxide of zirconium (ZrO2). Necessary content of dioxide of zirconium for ensuring the required level of alkali resistance of fiber glass has to make at least 14%. Alkali resistance of ARC fiber glass meets the international standards and GOST.

Glass fibers possess high strength at stretching and viscous elasticity. A lack of concrete is its low durability on stretching which is 10-15 times lower than durability on compression. This defect is eliminated due to use of fittings which perceive on itself the stretching tension. The module of elasticity of fiber glasses by 3,5 times exceeds the module of elasticity of concrete that predetermines use of glass fibers as the reinforcing material for concrete.
