Announcers of OPTEX

Optex offers a wide model range of infrared announcers for use inside
rooms. First of all it is necessary to pay attention to the basic technological elements,
the companies applied in all passive IK announcers.
• The spherical lens guarantees ideal focusing on a pyroelectric element (many
producers use the flat bent lens which is distorting a projection and sharply worsening
sensitivity at the edges). The spherical lens contains the polyethylene filter protecting
pyroelectric element from visible light. It is strong unlike standard soft lenses.
• Multifocal optics (Optex is patented). Unlike all other producers, quantity and
density of zones of detection in announcers of Optex in the vertical plan is 3-4 times higher thanks to what they
can take all mass of object, but not separate fragments, and their sensitivity 10 times more,
than at other passive IK of announcers. It is especially important when temperature is indoors close to
to temperature of a human body. One more important factor - for a usual lens a big zone on
remote distance at the same time is a small zone a row. Therefore with such lens
the person and rat can have identical effect on the announcer. At multifocal optics
small animals, being near the announcer, influence only one of stroyenny or even
quadruple zones that usually happens a little for operation of the announcer.
