The most demanded period on use of diesel anti-gel is the fall and the beginning of winter when air temperature becomes negative, and at gas station winter diesel fuel still is unavailable or at best there is a "demi-season" fuel at which the extreme temperature of filterability differs from temperature of filterability of summer fuel on only 3-4 °C.
Therefore use of diesel anti-gel allows to secure the motorist against problems with operation of the diesel car during this period and to avoid expensive repair, and at hard frosts anti-gel of diesel fuel is vital.
