Anti-virus protection, installation of an antivirus on the computer

Viruses - it is serious (instead of the introduction). Today, it seems, nobody should be convinced of need of creation of anti-virus protection of any more or less responsible information system. And creators of viruses do not sit, idly: by various estimates, daily in the world unknown handymen create from 2 to 10 new viruses! In conditions when computer systems become a business basis, and databases - the main capital of many companies, anti-virus protection strongly rises near questions of the general economic security of the organization. Especially this problem is actual for banks, as a matter of fact being keepers of very confidential information on clients and which business is constructed on continuous processing of electronic data. Theft, destruction, distortion of information, failure and refusal of computer systems - here those problems which bear with themselves viruses and virus-like programs. Nevertheless, according to authors, the relation to anti-virus protection in many respects remains cool and formal. Now it is unlikely you will meet bank in which information network any anti-virus programs are not installed. The administrator of a network will readily report that protection of workplaces, servers, e-mail, etc. is provided. But the problem is that despite existence of the anti-virus software (S) threat of virus attacks is still present. It occurs for several reasons: The separate antivirus software is established, there is no uniform system of the central management and collection of information about virus attacks there is no technical support put ON, the library of signatures (images of viruses) became outdated and the antivirus software does not reveal new viruses Is absent the action programs in extreme situations, mitigation of consequences of virus attack happens slowly and poor, the lost data are not restored there is no communication with the producer of antivirus software when developing new viruses.
