Belts flat is a type of RTI made on the basis of fabrics of different categories. Such belts have a peculiar "sandwich-type" design. Inside is from three to eight fabric laying, and outside — one or two rubber facings. Also belts flat without rubber facings are issued.

There is a conditional classification of belts allowing to define functionality of these or those models. In relation to mission allocate three main types of belts:
general purpose (are efficient at a temperature from-25 to +60 degrees);
frost-resistant (are efficient at a temperature from-45 to +60 degrees);
antistatic (are efficient at a temperature from-45 to +60 degrees).
