The announcer of "DPMG" consists of a gerkon and a magnetic plate. In the closed state contacts are kept by magnetic field of a nearby magnet. During removal of a magnet on the distance exceeding the size of a working gap the alarm signal is formed (contacts are disconnected).
Sensors magnitogerkonovy DPMG 2 are manufactured in intrinsically safe execution and are intended for control of provision of doorways on opening, control of provision of the moving separate parts and mechanisms when performing various explosive technological processes in coal, gas, oil industry, and also in various automatic devices of the control systems and the security alarm system made for needs of the national economy and for delivery to export.
Sensors can be manufactured for operation in various macroclimatic areas performed by agrees GOST 15150-69; UHL 2,5 – for areas with a temperate and frigid climate of category 5.
Sensors provide the following requirements of reliability:
- time between failures not less than 20 000 h;
- middle service life not less than 5 years (DPMGR2 is not less than 6 years old);
- shelf life not less than 3 years (DPMGR2 is not less than 4 years old).
