Buldoser rykhlitelny the DET-400B1R2 unit on the basis of the industrial DET-400 tractor of a traction class 25 with the electromechanical transmission providing automatic control of speed depending on traction effort is intended for performance of digging and transport works on category I-IV soil, including on frozen and folding and rocky.
The bulldozer DET - 400 is created on the basis of the DET-320 tractor. On the DET-400 tractor for the first time in practice of domestic and foreign tractor construction electromechanical transmission with ventilno-inductor electrocars (LOOK) and an electronic control system is applied.The modern double quick-detachable cabin is equipped with double-glazed windows thanks to which thermal and sound isolation of a workplace of the operator is significantly increased. The cabin is equipped with a heater "Zenith" and the conditioner - "RIO-3000".

Use of ventilno-inductor electrocars provides the following advantages of the bulldozer DET-400 in comparison with the DET-250M2 tractors and the DET-320 tractor:
Reliability surpasses reliability of cars with a direct current twice. The rotor of the induction engine has no winding and therefore an engine exit out of operation for the reasons connected with a rotor is practically excluded. In case of damage of the coil of a starter, it can be replaced without dismantle of the next coils that cannot be executed on electric motors of other type. Work in the conditions of the increased humidity is possible. Mass-dimensional indicators are lowered by 10 - 15% - the copper consumption is reduced by 500 kg. The power generator of transmission can be used as diesel-generator installation. The contactless control system of high reliability with the on-board computer and the graphic display in a cabin provides automatic control of operation of electromachines and knowledge of the operator of the current operating modes of electromechanical transmission.
