Drawing a ceramic-metal covering.
The thermal dusting and naplavka of wearproof ceramic-metal coverings on the basis of carbides of tungsten and chrome are considered as the most technological way of protection of products against wear today. The grains of carbides located in a metal matrix give in to polishing up to the 13th class of purity, thanks to hardness in 68-72 HRC excellently resist to abrasive wear, successfully resist to corrosion in the majority of hostile environment.
At the same time the detail is made of the constructional material which is most suitable a task (the cheapest or the easiest or the least subject to fatigue) and the places subject to wear become covered thin (from several tens microns to several millimeters) by a covering from wearproof material — carbide of tungsten or carbide of chrome.
Advantage of a supersonic thermal dusting of wearproof coverings is that they can be applied on any basis — steel, alloys, aluminum, the titan. The covering and a basis are connected adgezionno, there is no hashing that allows to receive the necessary hardness of a surface already at a dusting of 50-100 microns of a covering. At a dusting the surface does not heat up more than 150 °C, is not submitted thermal influence and does not navodorazhivatsya.
Naplavka imposes more serious restrictions for basis material, but allows to provide wear resistance in more severe service conditions — in the presence of shock loadings, in molotkovy crushers, sets, grokhota, drilling equipment. Naplavka allows to put also big thickness of a covering, than a dusting.
Advantage of a laser naplavka of wearproof coverings is small hashing of material of a covering with a basis that allows to receive the required hardness after the first pass.
Naplavka of hard-alloy coverings electrodes and a wire allows to increase wear resistance of products without big investments in infrastructure. Having bought the welding machine and electrodes, it is possible to create coverings with the hardness up to 70 HRC. As a rule, the high roughness and porosity of the coverings received by a naplavka electrodes do not allow to carry out their machining, but in many appendices of it and it is not required.
Wearproof coverings can be operated effectively at temperatures up to 600 °C. More high temperatures lead to decomposition of carbides and decrease in hardness and wear resistance.
