The computer tonometer CT - 80, TOPCON (Japan), differs in high precision and stability of the measured data which do not depend on external factors. The soft stream of air does process of measurement by more comfortable for the patient.
The doctor observes the image of an eye of the patient and focus tags on the screen of the built - in monitor with high resolving power. On the monitor screen information on the taken measurement is also highlighted: the index of position of an eye - right/left, the measurement mode - manual / automatic, the measurement range, size of intraocular pressure - on three values for each eye and the average size of pressure.
The computer tonometer of TOPCON ST - 80 automatically defines wrong data, for example, when an eye blinked, designating these data in brackets. The ST - 80 device also prompts to an opretor when it is necessary to make cleaning of a measuring window. Availability of function of self - checking of accuracy of measurements in ST - 80 guarantees to the doctor the highest reliability of the measured data.
Speed and simplicity of measurements.
At the expense of the improved system of positioning of the tool and system of air supply CT - 80 provides simplicity and high speed of measurement of pressure. The interval between measurements is reduced by 30% thanks to what work with the patient takes less time now. Right after the correct positioning measurement is performed and results are at once displayed on the display. Speed of measurement makes only 3 ms.
Triple security system.
CT - 80 is equipped with a triple security system. First, it is a stopper of traffic safety of the body of the tool. Secondly, the message on too small distance to an eye of the patient ("TOO CLOSE") displayed on the monitor in the course of positioning of the tool. And, thirdly, it is the sound signal warning the operator about too small distance between the tool and the patient's eye.
Double touch system.
In CT - 80 the system of measurement developed by specialists of the TOPCON company by means of two sensors is used: light sensor and sensor of pressure. The light sensor defines the moment of interaction of an air flow with an eye cornea while the sensor of pressure considers pressure in an air chamber.
This new system of measurement allows the operator to obtain high - precision and reliable data which do not depend on the atmospheric pressure, height and other external factors.
Self - diagnostics function.
The computerized CT - 80 tonometer warns the operator about need of carrying out maintenance in advance. At pollution of lenses the tool itself reports about it and specifies what lens needs cleaning (a measuring lens or a lens of the camera).
The internal purpose for fixing of a look.
Infrared illumination of CT - 80 excludes need of use of rigid and bright lighting for a visible range, thereby increasing comfort and patient safety.
Built - in printer.
The printer which is built in CT - 80 allows to print out the obtained data simple pressing of the button. A possibility of the automatic and manual printing of data (to three individual dimensions + average values for each eye).
Advantages of contactless measurement of intraocular pressure in comparison with a traditional contact method:
- The contactless method of measurement allows to take off data at patients with the damaged cornea surface. Entering of an infection it is excluded
- Allergic reaction to drops is excluded
- Measurement process faster and convenient for the doctor and patient.
