Corner

The angular ravnopolochny and neravnopolochny hot-rolled steel produced according to GOST 535-88 belongs to this type of steel products.
Corners subdivide into the following categories:

1. Rolling angular ravnopolochny steel.

The range of this type of corners corresponds to GOST 8509-93.
On rolling accuracy steel is produced:

• And - high precision;
• B - usual accuracy.

Number of angular ravnopolochny steel corresponds to width of the shelf expressed in mm.
For example: a corner 25 - width of the shelf of this corner is equal to 25 mm. All other sizes (wall thickness, etc.) according to state standard specification (are specified in the tab. of the reference book).

2. Rolling angular neravnopolochny steel.

The range of this type of corners corresponds to GOST 8510-93.
On rolling accuracy steel is produced:

• And - high precision;
• B - usual accuracy.

For example: A corner 125х80х8 - width of one shelf of a corner is equal to 125 mm, another - 80 mm, thickness of shelves - 8 mm.
The steel corner is used in construction as elements for production of a metalwork.
The corner is made from carbonaceous steel of ordinary quality of GOST of 380 brands: St0, St3kp, St3sp/ps, St4kp, St4ps, St4sp, St5ps, St6ps, St6sp, from steel of the increased durability (low-alloyed) GOST of 19281-89 brands: 08G2S, 12GS, 16GS, 14G2, 17GS, 09G2S, 14HGS, 15HSND, 10HNDP, 17G1S, 10G2S1, 10G2BD, 10HSND, 15G2SFD, 14G2AF, 16G2AF, 15g2afdps, 18g2afps.
