Rats are the natural tank of many zoonozny and antropozoozny infections. They transfer causative agents of plague, a tulyaremiya, rage, typhus, toxoplasmosis, leptospirosis, rickettsial diseases, to a sodok and other diseases.

There are two ways of deratization: preventive and destructive.

Preventive measures are necessary to avoid emergence of the conditions favorable for emergence and reproduction of rodents.

Destructive deratization is directed to extermination of already available rodents and has to be carried out regularly.


Rats possess ability to adapt to various poisons used for their destruction and also to distinguish them.
