Disinfection of rooms

Disinfection is a complex of the actions directed to destruction of causative agents of infectious diseases and destruction of toxins on objects of external environment. For its carrying out chemicals, for example, formaldehyde or hypochlorite of sodium are usually used. Disinfection reduces quantity of microorganisms to the acceptable level, but completely can them and not destroy. ^[1] Is one of types of disinfecting. Distinguish preventive, current and final disinfection:

• preventive — is carried out constantly, irrespective of an epidemic situation: washing of hands, surrounding objects with use washing and the cleaners containing bactericidal additives.
• flowing — is carried out at the patient's bed, in insulators of medical aid stations, medical institutions for the purpose of the prevention of distribution of infectious diseases out of center limits.
• final — is carried out after isolation, hospitalization, recovery or death of the patient for the purpose of release of the epidemic center from the activators disseminated by the patient.
