The system of an operational direct current like ShOTE is made within a series of cases of ShNE 8003 - ShNE 8005.

Appointment
The distributed ShOTE SOPT is the direct current guaranteed by the power supply for objects of power (own needs of substations, distribution points, power plants), the industry, objects of oil and gas branch.
The main case of a board of ShOTE – a case like ShNE 8003 includes a compartment with the modular charging feeding devices of transistor type, the input equipment and distribution, system of automatic equipment, system of monitoring, the isolation control unit, terminal clips, etc. On a door of a case of ShNE 8003 measuring devices, switches, the controller of the charger and alarm lamps are installed.
At AB capacity to 50*A and existence of free space AB monoblocks (usually 17 monoblocks of 12B) can be established in a separate compartment of a case of ShNE 8003. Otherwise monoblocks of AB are mounted in a separate case of ShNE 8004 AB on shelves.
For tracking of temperature in compartment AB AB temperature sensor is installed.
Depending on type of the used switching equipment of lines of distribution at a large number of the powered consumers (for example, more than 30), instead of a case of ShNE 8003 ShNE 8005 case (the same structure as at ShNE 8003 except for distribution devices) and a case of distribution of operational current of ShNE 8001 is used (or ShNE 8002).

ShOTE is the design packed product that allows to receive devices with various combination of properties. Structurally cases of ShOTE represents a metal design of cupboard type.

ShOTE carries out the following functions:
- reception of the electric power from sources of variable current -
- transformation of alternating current to constant -
- reception of the electric power from the rechargeable battery and protection it from the deep category -
- distribution of a direct current on consumers -
- protection of inputs and the departing lines against short circuits and an overload -
- reservation and automatic switching between energy sources -
- control of resistance of isolation of chains of a direct current and automatic detection of the departing line with the lowered isolation resistance -
- monitoring of a condition of the equipment of ShOTE and communication with ACS -
- indication of a condition of the equipment of ShOTE.

ShOTE works in two main modes:
• the normal mode when chargers receive food from a board of own needs and provide food of loading with a direct current and at the same time a subcharge/charge of the rechargeable battery. In this mode the main source are chargers, and the rechargeable battery can quickly work, at sharp increase (throws) in current of loading -
• emergency operation when chargers do not work (due to the lack of food or malfunction) and food of loading are provided by the rechargeable battery during certain time.
ShOTE is calculated for work in rooms, at the height no more than 2800 m above sea level, in the absence of vibration and blows. Working situation ShOTE vertical.
On the basis of ShOTE it is possible to organize the distributed system of an operational direct current (SODC) for large power facilities.
