You did not think of where water disappears during plentiful rains and after snow thawing???
Washes away your base, washes away all structures on a site, promotes sag of paths and platforms, ruins your plants bogging up soil, promotes development of a moss and lichen on a lawn.
All this excess water can be collected to one place for a reuse for watering or to take away in a drainage well or in arychny system, as a last resort in the sewerage.
The drainage system is a network of the punched pipes passing underground on all site at a depth of 20-60 cm, or in places especially necessary, for branch and collecting a ground and surface water.

Not to do without deep drainage if at you:
– the site is boggy;
– settles down in the lowland or other places with excess moistening;
– if on the project the operated first floor is provided.
Drainage device
The drainage system begins with excavation of a trench. Dig out it with a small bias towards a natural drain or towards a drainage well. On a bottom of a trench crushed stone (gravel) and sand keeps within. On this "pillow" put the punched drainage pipes. When pipes are laid, from above it is also necessary to fill up them with sand and crushed stone and to cover with a turf layer.
From lateral "drains" water gets to central "drain", then is taken away in a drainage well or out of site limits. Installation of drainage wells is necessary when there is no place to dewater, or in that case when on a site there is no sufficient natural bias.
