E47 voltmeters belong to devices with electromagnetic system. The structure has the round coil with the cores placed inside mobile and motionless. At course of current through coil turns, the magnetic field magnetizing both cores is created. Owing to what, like poles of cores make a start, and the movable core turns an axis with an arrow. For protection against a negative impact of external magnetic fields, the coil and cores are protected by the metal screen.
