Economizer

The economizer represents type of a dookhladitel in which part of Freon, usually 10–20%, evaporate at more high temperature, than in the main evaporator, and other part of a stream of Freon dookhlazhdatsya significantly. Operation of the economizer requires the compressor with port of the economizer for a respiration at an intermediate level of pressure, for example to the COPELAND ZH Vapor Injection model.

The economizer provides two advantages to system.

1. The efficiency of system increases thanks to the raised dookhlazhdeniye in the economizer block.
2. The port of the economizer provides effective cooling of the compressor in the course of compression.

These two factors increase compressor power approximately for 10%, at the same time providing wider range of its work.

Operation of the heatpump with the compressor of wide range of action leads to increase of seasonal efficiency as the heatpump can work without auxiliary power source also at very low ambient temperatures.
