About the company

Since 1967, French company CETAL S.A.S. is the largest European developer and the producer of the processing electroheating and heatexchange equipment for industrial processes, tubular electric heating elements (TEN), and also control systems of processes of an electrical heating of various environments.

Oil and gas industry

- Oil heaters. At production and pipeline transportation high-paraffinic, viscous nefty, having high temperature of hardening, for the purpose of ensuring fluidity of oil and avoidance of deposits of paraffin on walls of pipelines, it is necessary to warm up crude production from the mouth of wells to the central processing facility. Flowing or traveling heaters of oil like RACAE are widely applied to these purposes. If it is necessary to warm oil directly in the tank, then use of flange submersible TPAE and TPEIAE heaters or the twisted TPAEL heaters for capacities of open type is expedient.

- Technological heating and maintenance of temperature of diesel fuel to the required operating level of fluidity, viscosity, and also for ensuring full miscibility of various additives in DT for the purpose of receiving all-weather, winter and Arctic diesel fuel.

- A fuel oil warming up in railway tanks, land and underground horizontal "RGS" tanks for achievement of necessary temperature of fluidity, plum/filling vertical steel "RVS" tanks, and also railway capacities, vertical and horizontal TPAE electric heaters are used.

- Heaters of fuel gas. Are used for heating of hydrocarbonic gases, can have any required power from 1 kW to several MW one block, with working pressure up to 200 bars and more. Are widely applied to heating and automatic maintenance of the set temperature of natural gas, associated oil gas and other hydrocarbonic gases in northern conditions at gas-distributing stations (GRS), the compressor stations (CS) of the main gas pipelines, to improvement of properties of fuel gas of gas-piston power plants and gas-turbine gas-distributing units (GPA), and to other consumers of gas for the purpose of improvement of operating conditions and increase in reliability of the equipment. Also are used for an overheat of steam (boiler superheaters), for heating of nitrogen, hydrogen, air and various pure gases in regeneration processes.

Power, metallobrabotka and chemical industry

- Explosion-proof thermooil coppers or heaters of the high-temperature organic heat carriers (HTOHC), are used everywhere where there is a need for heating of the heat carrier to high temperatures (to +400C), especially in explosive zones of oil refinery and other petrochemical and chemical objects.

- Submersible heaters for galvanic bathtubs, solutions of acids and alkalis. L-shaped or in the form of tubular elements. Quartz, from corrosion-proof or from acidproof steel, can become covered by Teflon or PTFE a layer (polytrifluorochlorethylene ― Halar). Are completed with the automatic safety lock from an overheat of a surface of TEN which is switching-off the electric heater in case of the low level of liquid.

- Flowing and submersible heaters of acids and alkalis for providing necessary temperature conditions in production and chemical processes.

- Explosion-proof heaters like BATAE. Electric explosion-proof radiators are intended for heating and heating of warehouses with fuels and lubricants, pyrotechnics and other explosive and flammable substances, production rooms, change houses, and premises on drilling rigs, oil refinery, oil pumping and gas-distributing stations, with extent of explosion protection 1Ex (EEx) d IIC T3 (and T4).

Housing-and-municipal sphere

- Electric boilers water-heating for a constant and reserve hot water service of various objects, for heating, as an auxiliary source of heat with temperature-controlled automatic equipment, and for other economic needs.

- Electric superheaters of steam are used in humidifiers, in steam generators to laundries and dry-cleaners, in boilers and other consumers of steam.

- Infrared radiators. Are applied to local (dot) heating of surfaces, to heating of moving objects, in drying shops and chambers.

- Air heaters (electroheaters without combustion of oxygen) for heating of air in central airs, air heating and forced ventilation.

Food industry

- Heaters of vegetable oil. Flowing EGM heaters and submersible heaters from food stainless steel like TPE can be used to a technological warming up and maintenance of the set temperature of oil and food fats.

- Programmable submersible electric heaters for maintenance of the required temperature of syrups, stuffings, condensed milk and other confectionery masses.

- Infrared electric heaters for baking and heating of foodstuff. Unlike usual convective heating, infrared heat is "softer" and is spent completely for warming up of object that increases efficiency and saves the electric power for 30-40%.

Other branches

Our high-performance heating VHP elements are established on all nuclear power plants of Europe, China, Korea, and also on some NPPs in the USA, Turkey, Brazil, Pakistan, Malaysia, India, and the United Arab Emirates. To all above-mentioned, the electroheating equipment CETAL is widely applied in pharmaceutical, textile, pulp-and-paper, polymeric, and many other industries.
