The energy audit is an inspection of power objects for the purpose of detection of power efficiency, the definition of measures for its increase and opportunities of their realization including collecting documentary information, tool inspection, the analysis of information and development of recommendations about energy saving.
This service is carried out according to Rules of carrying out an energy audit, the approved resolution of the government of RK of 31.08.2012 No. 1115.
Subjects of the State power register, except for public institutions, pass an obligatory energy audit at least once each five years. The first time subjects of GER have to pass no later than three years after adoption of law.
By its results the conclusion on energy saving and increase in energy efficiency is formed.
Purposes of power inspection
Main objectives of power inspection are:
1) obtaining objective data on volume of the used energy resources;
2) definition of indicators of power efficiency;
3) determination of potential of energy saving and increase in power efficiency;
4) development of the list of standard, public actions for energy saving and increase in power efficiency and carrying out their cost assessment.
Under the agreement between the person which ordered carrying out power inspection, and by the person conducting power examination development by results of power inspection of the report containing a list of the actions for energy saving and increase in power efficiency other than standard, public actions for energy saving and increase in power efficiency can be provided.
Power inspection and the Program of increase in power efficiency of an object realized on its basis provides:
increase in reliability of power supply;
increase in reliability and safety of power stations;
increase in efficiency of power use;
optimization of power costs for the organizational and economic reasons.
