Description
Transfer of the image on a printing form [ to govern | to edit the viki-text ]
There are several technologies of transfer of the image on a printing form. Among them there is a computer-to-plate or CtP technology by means of which the image is directly transferred to a printing form by means of a pleytsetter . In the traditional press the image is transferred from photoforms which, in turn, can be produced in the digital method, by means of computer-to-film or CTF technology , or manually by means of phototypesetting .
Pluses of an offset printing:
- The best quality of the press
- Possibility of the press on any kinds of paper and use of any kinds of postprinting processing
- The press of big circulations for short terms
- Considerable reduction in cost of cost of an offset printing at big circulations.
Minuses of an offset printing:
- At an offset printing prepress processing ( a color separation , a coloring test, creation of forms, the press of forms, preparation of a press, a tsvetobalansirovka) is required that makes impossible implementation of urgent orders, for example, for an hour
- Prepress preparation and priladka increase cost, and the press of small circulations can be unprofitable
- Personification of data at an offset printing is impossible, the truth this minus is easily filled with postprinting processing of circulation, for example, a run via the digital printing machine.
