Fluoroplast - 4 insulators can be used:

- as insulating bushings on boxes of block transformers;

- as insulators at the inputs of transformer boxes;

- insulating bushings for VMP circuit breakers in switchgear cabinets, for VMP circuit breakers in KSU - type chambers;

- disconnectors of internal installation of the RVF type;

- as insulators in fuses such as PKT, PSN.

- the use of insulators made of fluoroplast - 4 is due to its excellent electrical properties:

- specific surface resistance more than 10 ¹⁷ ohm

- electrical strength with a thickness of 0.2 mm more than 40 mm ²

- dielectric constant at 103 Hz 1.9.. .2.2

- dielectric loss tangent at 103 Hz 0.0002.. .0.0003

- arc resistance 250 sec.
