Description
Geophysical methods of research of wells - a complex of the physical methods used for studying of rocks in okoloskvazhinny and interborehole spaces and also for control of technical condition of wells. Geophysical surveys of wells are divided into two very extensive groups of methods - methods of logging and methods of borehole geophysics. The logging also known as trade or boring geophysics, is intended for studying of the breeds which are directly adjoining a well trunk (radius of research of 1-2 m). Often terms logging and GIS are identified, however GIS includes also the methods serving for studying of interborehole space which call borehole geophysics.

Researches are conducted by means of the geophysical equipment. At geophysical research of wells all methods of prospecting geophysics are applied.
