HANKOOK

The brand of the HANKOOK rechargeable batteries belongs to the South Korean company AtlasBX Co. Ltd., created in 1944 under the name Isan Ltd. In 1952 the company received the name Korea Storage Battery Ltd. (KSB) under which worked till March, 2004. The company developed the Korea's first unattended (Maintenance-Free) accumulator in 1980. Now Atlas BX is the leader among South Korean producers of automobile accumulators.

The AtlasBX company works on the international standards of quality: in 1994 the certificate of ISO 9001, ISO14001 – in 1998 was received, in 1999 the company was certified according to the QS 9000 standard, and in 2004 the certificate of ISO/TS16949 (TUV RHEINLAND) was received. The possession of similar certificates allows to sell rechargeable batteries practically in all world markets.

In all rechargeable batteries manufactured by the AtlasBX company the lattices of electrodes made on the most modern now the X-Frame Stamped Grid technologies (analog of Varta Power Frame) are used.
