Idle time in use, a compact, easy defibrillator monitor with a possibility of work in the manual or automatic modes.
It is developed according to a wide range of requirements imposed to process of a defibrillation and monitoring in the form of the uniform lung available in use of the device; allows the user giving first aid on site despite qualification competently to carry out process of a defibrillation.
In the device HeartStart XL + the defibrillation by means of technology of a bi - phase impulse SMART of the low energy developed by the Philips company is implemented.
The device simple in work in all modes.
Monitoring of an ECG and, at will, pulsoksimetriya (SpO2), and also noninvasive measurement of arterial pressure (OVER) and measurement of content of carbon dioxide at the end of an exhalation (EtCO2) is supported. It is also possible to carry out therapy by means of a defibrillation to three accounts in the manual mode, the 2 - stage mode of the ANDES, synchronized cardioversion and the additional mode of electrocardiostimulation.
Four clinical operating modes are provided:
- monitoring,
- manual defibrillation
- synchronized cardioversion,
- ANDES and electrocardiostimulation.
Depending on the used ECG cable in the monitoring mode on the screen it is possible to watch 2 different curve electrocardiograms at the same time. 3 - wire the ECG cable allows to watch one of assignments: I, II or III. 5 - wire the ECG cable allows to watch any two from the following assignments: I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF or V. Additional monitoring of SpO2 (with forming of numerical values and plethysmograms), EtCO2 (with forming of numerical values and kapnogramma) is supported and OVER. Measurements and curves are displayed on the display. There are also alarm signals warning about change of a condition of the patient. Besides, it is possible to display the report on trends of the main indicators allowing to see quickly all key controlled parameters and results of their measurements.
The mode of a manual defibrillation provides a simple defibrillation in three accounts. For this purpose it is necessary to analyze an ECG of the patient and if it is necessary, to make the following: 1) to choose energy level; 2) to save up a charge; 3) to submit the category. The defibrillation is carried out by means of digit electrodes (internal or external) or multifunction electrodes. In the mode of a manual defibrillation it is possible to execute also synchronized cardioversion.
In the mode of the ANDES the HeartStart XL device + analyzes an ECG of the patient and defines whether it is necessary to submit the category. 2 - stage procedure of a defibrillation is carried out by means of voice hints with simultaneous display on the display simple performed by instructions and the information about the patient
