Hydrochloric acid 0,1n fiksana

Hydrochloric acid (chlorohydrogen, hydrochloric or chloride acid) - solution of chloride hydrogen in water; strong monobasic acid. The maximum concentration at 20 °C is equal to 38% on weight, density of such solution of 1,19 g/cm3. Weak solutions of hydrochloric acid (to 0,4% ) have specific tart and sour taste, more concentrated cause oral cavity burns. Salts of hydrochloric acid are called chlorides.
MISSION:

Hydrochloric acid is widely applied in various industries. In hydrometallurgy and a galvanoplasty it is used for cleaning of a surface of metals during the soldering and a tinning, for receiving chlorides of zinc, manganese, iron and other metals. For cleaning of ceramic and metal products of pollution and disinfection in mix with surface - active substances. In the food industry it is registered as the regulator of acidity, a food additive of E507. Also it is applied in medicine, ferrous metallurgy, etc.
APPEARANCE.

The colourless, "smoking" on air, strongly caustic liquid.
Technical requirements, safety requirements, acceptance procedures, analysis methods, packing and transportation of hydrochloric acid have to correspond to GOST 3118 - 77.
Transportation by all means of transport according to rules of transportations of dangerous freights which act on this type of transport.
STORAGE.

The product is poured in the special gummed tanks, the gummed containers, polyethylene barrels with a capacity of 50 dm3, polyethylene canisters and glass large bottles with a capacity of 20 dm3. Store in packing of the manufacturer in the covered warehouse.
SAFETY MEASURES.

Hydrochloric acid — caustic substance which causes severe burns at hit on skin. Hit in eyes is especially dangerous. Vapors of chlorohydrogen irritate mucous membranes and airways at extraction of substance without due security measures. Forms toxic gaseous chlorine, reacting with such substances as chloric lime, dioxide of manganese or permanganate of potassium.
Use of special clothes, respirator, and also means of protection of the person and eyes is necessary.
