Over time bitumen "grows old" that there are the reason of loss of the knitting properties and destructions of asphalt concrete. The superficial corrosion resulting from it, a treshchinoobrazovaniye and high water penetration promote further destruction of a covering that, finally, leads to final fracture of a covering if timely measures are not taken.
LLC Innovatsionnye tekhnologii developed new technology of repair and strengthening of roads. It is based on a road blanket waterproofing due to "Impregnation of special PS-1" (TU 2451-005-80296902-2011).
"Impregnation special PS-1" is applied at construction of new roads. It gets into the top porous layer of asphalt, pressurizes it, and prevents water penetration. Impregnation possesses low viscosity that allows it to get into the put surface on depth of 1-3 centimeters. Tests showed that the created waterproofing course successfully protects a new asphalt concrete covering during 3 … 4 years, and the appearing destructions of a paving stop in the top layer at a stage of their emergence.
PS-1 is also successfully applied to the worn-out or damaged asphalt concrete roads. Its use stops further destruction and restores properties of a covering due to deep introduction of impregnating structure in the volume of a constructive layer of the road. PS-1 gets into bitumen, restoring its initial required properties. Being absorbed in a covering, the rejuvenating structure of PS-1 affects bitumen by replacement and replenishment of the fractions lost because of aging in use of an asphalt concrete covering. Thanks to original structure of the added components, PS-1 restores coupling between mineral material and knitting, increasing elasticity, and from here and durability of a covering from asphalt concrete. It is possible to mix impregnation with sand for repair of cracks to 10 mm, or with small crushed stone for repair of small holes. Material is ready to application after careful hashing.
"Impregnation special PS-1" is applied to protection of cement-concrete coverings, by strengthenings and dust removals of macadam and dirt roads. During drawing particles of stone material and dust of different fractions communicate, at the same time the surface reminding asphalt concrete is created. Such surface resists loadings much better and reduces wear of tire covers. Use of impregnation on technological roads near settlements, allows to refuse continuous use of watering machines and to considerably reduce costs of dust removal. Tests of crushed-stone and soil sites of technological roads showed that at the stable movement of freight vehicles weighing 20 … 25 t impregnation successfully keeps a roadbed within a year.
Efficiency of use of PS-1 is also confirmed at a waterproofing of roofs of buildings, cellars. Because it is easily applied on surfaces of any complexity and a configuration, it is especially actual at a waterproofing of difficult building constructions. In 2013 cooperation with a number of private management companies is set up, the order for repair of a roof of houses, peaks of balconies and a waterproofing of basements is executed.
"Impregnation special PS-1" possesses a number of distinctive features:
- PS-1 quickly hardens (traffic can be opened through 0,5 … 1 hour after drawing). This indicator at analogs 1 … 2,5 hours, at the same temperature.
