The oxygen inhaler of KI - 5 is intended for carrying out oxygen (oxygen - air) and aerosol therapy on the scene and (or) at transportation in the conditions of ambulance at the first stage of evacuation. In the course of work the inhaler oxygen provides supply of oxygen and adjustment of a stream with visual control on an expense indicator scale. When carrying out oxygen - air therapy the mask is connected to pressure regulator a tube. When opening the gate of a cylinder oxygen arrives to the regulator of pressure in which necessary supply of oxygen in a mask where oxygen mixes up at a breath with the air arriving from the atmosphere through openings in a mask forming oxygen - air mix is established. Emission of the exhaled gas in the atmosphere is carried out through the same openings in a mask. For carrying out oxygen - air therapy with use of a receiver the mask is connected by an oxygen tube to pressure regulator. On an exhalation phase oxygen from the regulator of pressure comes to a respiratory bag. At a breath oxygen from a respiratory bag comes to the patient's lungs. Necessary supply of oxygen is established so that the respiratory bag always remained in the straightened state. Behind breath of the patient it is controlled on fluctuations of a pink float in the indicator on a mask. When carrying out oxygen therapy the valvate box with a receiver and an anesteziologichesky front mask is used. When opening the gate oxygen from a cylinder comes to pressure regulator. Necessary giving is established discretely on a certain mark or according to the indication of a flowmeter. When aerosol therapy is carried out, the nebulizer connects an oxygen tube to pressure regulator. When opening the gate of a cylinder or external source oxygen arrives to the regulator of pressure and further on a tube to the nebulizer. The medicinal solution which is previously filled in in a flask mixes up with oxygen, and the received aerosol comes to a mouthpiece. The quantity of the aerosol given on a breath is established by pressure regulator.
