Description

KMP DFM-500 is the easy portable device developed for performance of expanded functions of monitoring and procedures during bad heart attack with use of 4 modules for work: Monitor, Manual Defibrillator, Automatic Defibrillator (AED) and Outside Pacemaker (option). The mode of an outside pacemaker (optionally) provides contactless endocardial stimulation, delivering pulse through one-time electrodes.

KMP DFM-500 can work from the recharged Li-ion of batteries or from one-time LiSO2 of batteries. The indicator of the status of the battery constantly is shown in upper part of the screen. For charging of the recharged batteries the external charger is used.
KMP DFM-500 has an option of automatic saving information for the built-in memory. These data include an ECG of the patient, events occurring in a usage time of the device and audio signals (in addition) and also background noise if the device works in the AED mode. In addition to this information 100 last actions which happened in a device usage time are stored in memory, they are grouped in use options.
In addition to the operating modes described above in KMP DFM-500 there is a special function for access to the Configuration mode in which the user can change and configure settings of control of operations of the device for convenience of work with the device. The device can also carry out various inspections at the request of the user, using configuration mode options.
KMP DFM-500 carries out a series of self-examinatione at turning on of the device and in operating time that allows to find malfunctions in system of work or some problems which can lead to interruptions in operation of the device and will make it unsafe. The indicator of malfunctions located on the front panel of the device shows the found mistake, also messages on it appear on the screen.
KMP DFM-500 independently carries out daily, weekly and monthly checks, and also check at detection of the new battery.

The device has several operating modes:

  • The Monitor mode - is recommended for supervision over the vital parameters, including capture from 3 assignments.
  • The mode the Manual Defibrillator - is recommended for a manual defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion and supervision over life signs.
  • The mode the Automatic Defibrillator (AED) - is recommended for the analysis of a signal of an ECG and a defibrillation in case of need, with instructions on use for the user.
  • The outside Pacemaker - for the devices offering similar function, this mode is recommended for cardiostimulation of pulse and supervision over life signs.
  • The Configuration mode - is used for performance of manual checks, a configuration of the different modes, access to information saved on a memory card and performance of functions on service.
  • The Demonstration mode - is used for demonstration of operation of the device with display of simulation of a curve. This mode is connected only in the configuration mode in service options.
  • The self-training mode - is used for training of work with the device, imitating the preset scenarios of operation. This mode is available only when using the special battery to training.

 Technical characteristics:

MONITOR
ECG Monitoring is made by means of a cable with 3 assignments and one-time electrodes.
Assignments from a cable 3 assignments: plate, I, II and III
Badge of the disconnected cable On the screen the badge appears if the cable was disconnected or it is incorrectly connected.
ECG size At choice 2.5, 5, 10, 20, 40 mm/mV
Speed of display of an ECG on the screen 25 mm/sec. for an ECG signal and curve SpO2
Frequency characteristic Muscular filter: 0.67 – 40 Hz or 1-30 Hz, depending on the chosen filter
Screen response: 0.67 – 40 Hz or 1 – 30 Hz, depending on the chosen filter
CHSS 30-300 ud. / min. ± 10%, are displayed on the screen
Accuracy of indications of ChSS and characteristic of an irregular rhythm (arrhythmia) Conforms to the EN 60601-2-27:2011 standards for a ventricular bigeminal pulse (ChSS=40 ud. / mines)
Averaging of indications of ChSS 8 last R-R of intervals are used for averaging of indications of ChSS
Time of a response of indications of ChSS From 80 ud. / mines to 40 ud. / min. – 8 sec.
From 80 ud. / mines to 12 ud. / min. – 5 sec.
Prevention/alarm time for tachycardia 206 ud. / mines (1 mV) – 3 sec.
206 ud. / mines (amplitude was divided into 2 parts) – 3 sec.
206 ud. / mines (amplitude doubled) – 3 sec.
195 ud. / mines (1 mV) – 3 sec.
195 ud. / mines (amplitude was divided into 2 parts) – 3 sec.
195 ud. / mines (amplitude doubled) – 3 sec.
Maximum deviation of T of a wave Wave T deviation with the maximum amplitude of 1.7 mV
Detection of pulse from an internal pacemaker The device is capable to find pulse from an internal pacemaker therefore the device will not define reduction of heart with an amplitude ±2мВ, from 0.1ms to 0.2ms, with shift to 400 ms including:
Only pulse from pacemakers; pulse from a pacemaker from QRS and a T-curve at a normal rhythm; pulse from a pacemaker with QRS at an unstable rhythm; sequence of pulses of A-V (with an interval of time of 150 ms and 25 ms).
Alarm systems There are following alarm systems:
- ChSS mines-max.; - % mines-max. the maintenance of SpO2 (only with an available option of a pulsoksimetriya); - VT/VF alarm system
The alarm systems displayed on the screen The parameter defining preventions/alarms blinks at a frequency of 0.5 Hz
Sound alarm systems Each message has different sound tone:
Sound of the general alarm system
Sound of readiness of use of a charge
Sound of the disconnected cable
Sound about need to look at the screen
Sound preventions / alarms of range of pressure in a cuff Physiological – from 63.7db to 71 dB

Instructions and sound hints – 65 dB
General deviation of a wave > 90 dB
Simultaneous work of KMP DFM 500 with other devices connected to the patient KMP DFM 500 can work with the electrosurgical equipment. Failure in the electrosurgical equipment does not constitute danger to the patient as KMP DFM 500 has protection against high-frequency burns (the cable of the patient has grounding).
