LATR-1,25 autotransformer laboratory 5A
The LATR-1,25 autotransformer (the laboratory transformer) is intended for smooth regulation of tension of alternating current of frequency of 50 or 60 Hz during various electrotechnical works.
LATR transformers are single-phase.
LATR autotransformers have to be reliably grounded.
Operation with the removed cover is forbidden. LATRY treat measuring devices unstable to short circuit therefore they need to be included in a network which is protected by fuses with current of the fusible insert which is not exceeding respectively 10A for LATR-1,25 and 20A for LATR-2,5.
Operation of autotransformers is allowed with a height above sea level to 2000 meters, however current of loading has to be reduced on 2,5 by each 500 meters of height.
The rated primary voltage of LATR transformers - 220B
Regulation limits - 0-250 Century.
Rated current of load of LATR:
LATR - 1,25 - 5 AND;
LATR - 2,5 - 10 AND.
Idling current - no more than 0,5A
Autotransformer efficiency - not less than 94%
