LED lighting — one of the perspective directions of technologies of artificial lighting based on use of light-emitting diodes as a light source. Use of LED lamps in lighting already occupies 6% of the market (according to 2006). Development of LED lighting is directly connected with technological evolution of a light-emitting diode. The so-called superbright light-emitting diodes which are specially intended for artificial lighting are developed.
