LZ-TsNII railway greasings

The LZ-TsNII railway greasing represents greasing 1-13 modification. Greasing of a lz-tsniya differs in availability in it of anti-seize and anti-oxidizing additive. Besides, greasing is prepared on low-viscous oil by a spindle HEY. The standard allows to apply to greasing preparation smas oils veretenny HEY with industrial I-50A. However practically such mix is not used. LZ-TsNII greasing has good anti-seize and antiwear characteristics. It is efficient at rather low temperatures. LZ-TsNII greasing completely replaced greasing 1-LZ in axle boxes of railway cars. Its application for cylindrical roller bearings of axle boxes has to improve conditions of their work. Greasing prevents jamming of the rubbing surfaces of end faces of rollers and boards of rings. It is suitable for high-speed trains. Provides run of axle boxes of 450 thousand kilometers within 5 years. However LZ-TsNII greasing has a number of the shortcomings connected with its preparation on sodium soaps: low water resistance, insufficient conservation efficiency, tendency to thermohardening. Besides, this greasing duplicates the ZhRO lithium greasing intended for application in similar frictional units (axle boxes) of locomotives. Now works on creation of new uniform greasing for axle boxes of cars instead of greasings of LZ-TsNII and ZhRO are conducted. Preferably that new greasing was steadily efficient to -60 °C
