The ejector EP - 3 - 750 - 2 is designed to operate on water vapor condensate as a cooling medium and is a jet air suction apparatus of a welded vertical type. The normal operation of the steam jet ejector in the entire range of turbine plant modes depends on the correct execution and condition of the pipelines:
- supply of fresh steam;
- suction of uncondensed gases;
- supply and discharge of cooling condensate;
- removal of working steam condensate and gases not condensed in the condenser
The ejector has 3 compression stages. To the nozzle box EP - 3 - 750 - 2, steam is supplied through the steam pipeline with a pressure exceeding the pressure of the steam - air mixture. The working steam is supplied through the outlets of the steam pipeline to the nozzles of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stages, located in the suction chamber. The working steam, entering the nozzles, accelerates and expands, reducing the pressure to a value determined by the geometry of the nozzles and the steam parameters in front of the nozzles. The jet of working steam, exiting at supersonic speed from the nozzles into the suction chamber, captures the ejected vapor - gas mixture, the velocities are equalized along the flow cross section, accompanied by an increase in pressure. Further compression of the mixed flow to the value of the pressure behind the apparatus occurs in the diffusers of the corresponding stages.
The mixed steam - air mixture enters the ejector body, where the working steam condenses on the heat exchange pipes of the ejector pipe system. The cooling surface area of the built - in cooler is formed by 3 U - shaped bundles of heat exchange pipes with a diameter of 18x1 made of corrosion - resistant steel grade 08X18H10T. The heat exchange tubes are flared in the tube sheet.
The working steam condensate is discharged through a drain line equipped with a non - return valve. The air from the ejector is discharged through the exhaust pipe, on which an air meter is installed with control devices in front of it: pressure and temperature of the vapor - air mixture, as well as a pressure and vacuum gauge.
Cooling water enters the ejector heat exchangers under pressure generated by the condensate pump. Cooling water is supplied through a suitable supply. Water enters the first part of the water chamber, fills it and enters the second part of the water chamber through the heat exchange tubes of the 1st bundle, fills it and enters the third part of the water chamber through the heat exchange tubes of the 2nd bundle, fills it and enters the last part through the heat exchange tubes of the 3rd bundle water chamber and is removed from the pipe system of the ejector through the appropriate outlet.
