1. Description

Metal sheets with the TPO-covering of Firestone UltraPly TPO Coated Metal are made of not reinforced thermoplastic polyolefin membrane applied industrially on goryacheotsinkovanny steel. Metal with the TPO-covering of Firestone UltraPly TPO Coated Metal serves as a component of the roofing Firestone UltraPly TPO system.

2. Preparation

The basis for laying has to be pure, dry, smooth, and also not have sharp edges, loose or foreign materials, traces of the oils, greasings and other products capable to damage this material. All roughnesses which can damage a membrane have to be eliminated according to requirements. All superficial emptiness more than 5 mm in size have to be properly filled with a suitable filler.

3. Installation

Lay preparations from metal with the TPO-covering of UltraPly TPO Coated Metal with a seam between them, equal 3-6 mm. Over joints of preparations from metal with the TPO-covering of UltraPly TPO Coated Metal lay an adhesive tape 5 cm wide for the purpose of prevention of temperature deformations of a seam. Weld on (with use of hot air) a piece of the reinforced or not reinforced TPO-membrane 150 mm wide over a joint according to technical indications of the Firestone company.
