Mobile welding FORPOST unit
The welding unit on caterpillar to the course of "FORPOST" is used
when laying the main pipelines in boggy
and almost impassable places. It is equipped by autonomous
generator, welding equipment, crane manipulator
for installation and movement of tent of the welder.
The welding FORPOST unit is manufactured on the basis of specially developed track laying vehicle for mobile power plants; it is equipped with the economic diesel engine with a turbo-supercharging of "Cummins" of a series 6BTA which guarantees and provides a necessary stock of power.
The modern welding FORPOST unit with in addition established diesel power plant of "Cummins" allows to increase profitability and a resource of the traction engine. On mobile welding units generators "Stamford USI 274E" with power from 70 to 120 kW, 220/380 V.' tension, frequency of current of 50 Hz are installed.
When developing the mobile welding FORPOST unit features of service conditions (the characteristic of soil, temperature condition etc.) were considered. In a standard complete set on the welding unit bolotokhodny caterpillars 525 mm wide are established that considerably reduces specific resistance on soil and allows to operate equipment in the marshland. The mobile welding unit is manufactured on specially developed chassis with the extended base that allows to increase the area for installation of the crane and the capital and service welding equipment, and also increases stability of a tractor. Due to increase in the area of a contact surface with the soil specific resistance on soil in addition decreases. From each party of the car 6 sprung basic skating rinks on which loading is evenly distributed are established, all roughnesses of the soil are compensated by the springs installed on the chassis.
