The harrow is designed for pre - sowing and continuous tillage in fields with different mechanical composition, as well as for soil preparation for sowing grain crops, planting fodder and industrial plants, including grinding and incorporating plant residues into it to refresh meadows using various agrotechnical circuits not clogged with stones and other obstacles, with soil resistivity up to 0.9 kgf / cm2 (0.09 MPa), hardness up to 35 kgf / cm2 (3.5 MPa) and soil moisture up to 27% .

The disk harrow is aggregated with class 1.4 tractors (MTZ - 80/82, YuMZ - 80/82). Each row of discs has the ability to adjust the angle of attack from 0 to 30° and, accordingly, the working width of the discs. The larger the angle, the smaller the spacing of the discs, but at the same time, the traction resistance increases. Therefore, the angle must be chosen optimal so that the unit has the opportunity to develop a working speed for the qualitative implementation of the technological process of tillage.
