Nitric acid of 56% of GOST 4461 - 77 jet HCh

Nitric acid - strong monobasic acid. Mixes up with water in any ratios. In water solutions it almost completely dissociates on ions. Forms with water azeotropny mix from concentration of 68,4% and tkip 120 °C at 1 atm. Two strong hydrates are known: monohydrate and trigidrat.
MISSION.

It is used in production of mineral fertilizers; in war industry; in the photo — acidulation of some tinting solutions; in easel graphics — for etching of printing forms (ofortny boards, tsinkografichesky typographical forms and magnesian cliches), and also in production of explosive and toxic agents.
APPEARANCE.

Nitric acid - the colourless or yellowish, caustic and very sour liquid smoking on air.
Technical requirements, safety requirements, acceptance procedures, analysis methods, packing and transportation of nitric acid have to correspond to GOST 4461 - 77.
Transportation can be carried out by all means of transport, except air according to rules of transportations of dangerous freights which act on this type of transport.
STORAGE.

Not concentrated nitric acid is filled in in the glass large bottles, barrels, vessels and tanks manufactured of stainless steel. Storage is carried out at a temperature no more than + 40 °C.
SAFETY MEASURES.

At storage, discharge and filling nitric acid it is necessary to exclude hit of vapors of nitric acid and nitrogen oxides on air Wednesday of the production room. Use of special clothes, an antidust respirator, means of protection of the person and eyes is necessary.
