Peat tablets

Peat tablets - one of new developments for amateur and professional gardening and truck farming. They are intended for a prorashchivaniye of seeds, cultivation of seedling, rooting of leaves and a cherenkovaniye. Peat tablets are similar to a big tablet of sparkling aspirin and consist of the pressed riding peat with addition of minerals and growth factors. Outside such tablet is dressed in a thin cover-setochku.

The initial size of a peat tablet is about three centimeters in height and eight centimeters in the diameter. It was the first of the advantages opened by scientists of peat tablets. Further such advantages became more and more, and convenience of their use is more and more obvious:

• peat tablets are almost irreplaceable at cultivation of plants with gentle roots as peat rassypchat and does not injure root system;
• peat tablets are very convenient for a prorashchivaniye of small seeds or expensive seeds as the percent of their viability in peat tablets is very high;
• at cultivation of shoots in peat tablets it is very simple and convenient to regulate humidity as excess moisture of a tablet is not absorbed;
• when using peat tablets there is no need for additional podkormka and growth factors at early stages of cultivation of seedling;
• peat has porous structure and allows the roots "breathe" that does them by stronger, and plants more hardy;
• tablets are placed in a special grid which holds its form and allows to immerse plants in the soil without harm for roots;

In a word, cultivation of seedling of flowers in peat tablets, or a prorashchivaniye of seeds of vegetables or selection and hybrid cultures has unambiguous advantages in comparison with a traditional way of cultivation. And here rules of cultivation of seedling in peat tablets not strongly differ habitual and familiar. Nevertheless, the features here too are.

How to use peat tablets?

At first we prepare tablets for use:

• we select the pallet and we place on it the necessary quantity of tablets deepening up;
• we fill in in a tablet otstoyanny water warm water (two, two and a half tablespoons);
• we wait when the tablet inflates, and will occur approximately in fifteen minutes;
• we merge excess water from the pallet.

And further we start crops and a prorashchivaniye of seeds:

• in each tablet we put on one (or two) to a sunflower seed of that, we want to grow up seedling of what;
• we fill up seeds with a small layer of humus (what is sprouted on light, we leave open);
• we cover the pallet with tablets transparent material (glass or plastic) to create greenhouse effect;

After emergence of shoots it is necessary to look after them according to requirements of concrete culture. And at approach of the moment of sword-play it is necessary just to replace seedling in soil, without taking out a plant from a tablet. Further the cover-setochka will just be dissolved in the earth, and the tablet will become part of fertilizer.

What it is necessary to remember when using peat tablets? It is the material "disposable" so add tablet cost to the cost of seeds to estimate true expenses. Give preference to only well proved brands of peat tablets, for example, to the tablets "Dzhiffi". But even if landing of seedling in peat tablets for you put absolutely new, try to use for a start them in parallel with a traditional way of cultivation of seedling.
