"Vladykin's paste" represents mazepodobny material of light pink color which at contact with any kind of fuel changes the color for red. "Vladykin's paste" has high plasticity and viscosity. The period of storage of petrolsensitive paste makes 1 year if to store it in the closed packing in places with the lowered humidity and at the room temperature.

For a start a thin film of paste is applied on a volumetric glass or a mernik on limit of the section of phases gas - liquid. After that the mernik falls by a tank bottom with fuel and is late for several seconds. For gasoline the indicator of a delay will make from 5 to 10 seconds, and for diesel fuel a mernik it is worth detaining at the bottom of the tank for 15 - 20 seconds. Further the expert has to extend the measured tool and check color of paste. Exactly on the level of the section of phases gas - liquid paste will be painted in red color. After contact of paste with diesel fuel time of coloring passes in 20 - 30 seconds.

Usually the producer releases this type of production in polypropylene banks on 90 grams which are not subject to influence of high humidity, to change of air temperature and are steady against mechanical influences. -
