PLATFORM

Platform - the car intended for transportation of the lengthy freights, containers, cars, the equipment and loose freights which are not demanding protection against an atmospheric precipitation. Platforms for transportation of heavy-load containers have no boards and flooring and are equipped with a special emphasis for fastening of containers. Platforms for transportation of containers and wheel equipment in addition have flooring and face boards. Platforms for transportation of the wood have additional special racks and face walls which prevent freight shift. The platform body for transportation of cars consists of the top and lower frames, four inclined extreme and two vertical average racks, metal flooring and the directing device. At end faces of such platforms folding platforms stages for moving of cars are provided. Fastening of cars is carried out by a special emphasis.

Universal platforms have a powerful steel welded frame with wooden or a tree - metal flooring and metal folding lateral and face gate. Face gate serve as a crossing planked footway for loading of wheel equipment in open situation as a self-feed. On a platform transportation of the freights both distributed, and concentrated in a middle part is allowed (to forty five tons on a platform 3 meters long and to sixty tons on a platform 4,3 meters long).
