Description

Systems of industrial and decorative polymeric floors with use of the materials KEMA.

Floors - the most responsible and high-loaded elements of production, public and residential buildings and constructions. They are exposed to high chemical, abrasive and mechanical loadings and at the same time have to meet to a complex of strict requirements, to be durable and esthetic.

Floors from mineral materials cannot solve this problem. Concrete, magnesian and plaster materials cannot meet to all complex of requirements imposed to floor coverings. Mineral materials have the low cost and high durability and are used as a substrate for polymeric coverings.

Polymeric floors of KEMA - the industrial coverings made of polymeric materials on the basis of epoxy, polyurethane, metilmetakrilovy and others polymeric binding.

- Epoxy floors and Epoxy floors with filling by quartz sand - are applied where special resistance to hostile environment is required, and the esthetic and unique look gives the chance to apply them in various public objects. A variety of color scales and use of color quartz sand gives the chance to designers to apply all their variety of ideas and decisions and to give to rooms unique character. At the expense of quartz sand it is possible to give to floors not only color, but also texture, and antiskid function.

Thanks to the high chemical resistance and excellent mechanical properties epoxies found the broad application at new construction and repair. Especially widely epoxy structures are used at the device of industrial floors to which the raised operational requirements are imposed: crash-worthiness, an abrazivostoykost, the anti-sliding properties, lack of dust, anti-static character, chemical firmness, a gigiyenichnost.

Advantages of polymeric floors:

The complex of special materials allows to solve practically any problems of the device of coverings of floors.

The basic principle is use of the liquid polymeric compositions forming a polymeric covering as a result of hardening on a basis surface.

Use of this technology gives huge advantages in comparison with the technology based on floor paving by piece or rolled materials:

  • lack of seams.
  • lack of a problem of a waterproofing of a surface of a floor.
  • higher chemical, abrasive and mechanical durability of the received coverings.
  • lack of a problem of the device of transitions "wall floor" and interfaces of various sites.
  • possibility of a combination of the most different properties in one system of coverings.
  • lack of glue layers between a covering and the basis.
  • possibilities of application in and outside of rooms.
  • high durability of communication of material of a covering with the basis – all polymeric coverings are in essence powerful glues.

Technological process.

The device of polymeric floors includes the following stages:

  • preparation of the basis;
  • priming of a floor;
  • drawing the main layer of structure;

At the device of polymeric floors it is important to prepare qualitatively the basis — the fresh filled-in concrete basis has to at least 28 days will be defended, it has to be cleared of garbage and dust, to differ in flatness. The grinding and milling equipment is applied to alignment of a surface at the device of polymeric floors. Also at this stage of the device of polymeric floors it is possible to achieve the maximum roughness of the basis — it is necessary for the best adhesion of bulk structure.

It should be noted that for the high-quality device of polymeric floors the basis has to meet the following requirements:

  • concrete floor — from brand not below M350;
  • durability on a separation — not less than 1,5 MPas;
  • humidity — no more than 4%.

The concrete basis at the device of polymeric bulk floors is surely grounded. It becomes to strengthen, "connect" a surface before drawing directly structure. Besides, often add special quartz sand which gives to the concrete basis the roughness increasing adhesion of bulk structure approximately by 2 - 2,5 times to a primer. Time of drying makes 1-2 days.

After drying of a priming basis drawing a finishing layer is made. Thickness, color and the invoice of a finishing layer directly depends on the chosen polymeric system. Time of full drying makes 5-7 days.
