Production of pipes with a single-layer anticorrosive covering

APPOINTMENT AND SCOPE:

• Pipes for construction of the main and field pipelines (gas pipelines, oil pipelines, products pipelines).
• Compliance of GOST P 51164-96 "Pipelines steel main. General requirements to protection against corrosion".
• Storage temperature - 45÷+60.
• Operation temperature - 20÷+80.

MAIN TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

• Thickness of a covering is ≥350 microns.
• Dielectric sploshnost of ≥2,5 kV.
• Shock durability ≥ 6 J.
• Adhesion of a covering to steel ≥ 5 MPas.
• The area of cathodic flaking is ≤5 cm2.
• Transitional resistance is 108 Ohms/sq.m.
• Relative lengthening of 5%.

Structurally single-layer sheeting represents one layer of an epoxy primer from 350 microns thick.
The covering is applied on steel pipes industrially, with use of the product mechanized line on the coordinated production schedules or the technological instruction.

Temperature condition of long operation of a covering: from-20ºС to +80ºС.
