Injector, or two - pipe, cutter is the most common type of oxy - fuel equipment. The flow of oxygen in such a cutter enters the injector under high pressure, creates a rarefaction zone there and draws combustible gas (propane) through the holes. Further, the mixture of gases passes through the lower tube of the cutter to the head and at the exit forms a stream of a warming flame, which heats up the cutting site. Adjustment is carried out by valves located on the cutter body.
The cutter is designed for cutting metals up to 300 mm thick. The R3P cutter is a powerful cutter that is used in the cutting of secondary metal, the construction of bridges and overpasses, in ship repair and production.
