PVC pitch, polyvinylchloride - thermoplastic material of a synthetic origin. Under different conditions of polymerization it can form products with various physical and chemical properties.

Externally polyvinylchloride pitch represents the white powder which does not have a smell. It is not dissolved in water, is steady against influence of various acids, alkali, alcohol and mineral oil. Dissolution and swelling happens when mixing to the chlorinated and automatic hydrocarbons, and also to air and ketones.
