Reducer mechanical RM, RTsD, Ts2U, Ch1 type

Reducer (mechanical) — the mechanism transferring and reformative torsion torque, with one or more mechanical gears. The main characteristics of reducer — efficiency, gear ratio, delivered power, the maximum angular speeds of shaft, quantity of the driving and driven shafts, type and the number of transfers and steps.

Usually reducer call the device transforming the high angular speed of rotation of input shaft to lower on day off to shaft, raising at the same time torque. The reducer which will transform low angular speed in higher usually is called the multiplicator.

The reducer with step change of angular speed is called the gearbox, with stepless — variator.

First of all reducers are classified by types of mechanical gears.

Also reducers can be classified by type of the body, by way of cooling, by types of the used bearings, by rotational speeds, gear ratio; the transferred, transformed, distributed power.
