Rock gardens and rock arias

The rock garden is a collection of types of the Alpine and subalpine flora. It is arranged in botanical gardens, placing plants in a certain order. In order that plants looked more natural, usually plant them among stones on an eminence, a hill. Thus, the Alpine hill turns out. From botanical gardens rock gardens moved also to private garden sites, strict botanical approach to them was replaced by free.

At an equal relief of a site the Alpine hill has to be sufficient on the area that it did not look lonely "hillock", and would be organic for this place to make rock arias - a rock garden in the form of the flat stony and gravel platform. Rock arias or the composition from stones, coniferous bushes and pochvopokrovny plants is not less decorative, than the Alpine hill.
