Description
Roofing material
Roofing material — the rolled roofing and waterproofing material produced by impregnation of roofing felt fusible oil bitumens with its subsequent covering (on both sides) a layer of refractory bitumen and protective topping asbestos, talc, etc.
Scopes
Generally roofing material is applied as material to a waterproofing of a roof, the bases and cellars.
Advantages: the roof flooring roofing material — easy, has relative durability (roofing material is more durable in comparison with the krovelnymimateriala which do not have a covering and protective topping such as roofing felt ipergamin), has a possibility of application at any biases and forms of a roof;
Shortcomings: high inflammability of material and low durability. Waterproofings by roofing material of cellars and other rooms with the increased humidity it allows to be protected only from moisture, but will not be able to rescue from flooding by ground waters.
Raw materials and materials
Are applied to production of roofing material (according to the interstate standard):
bitumens oil roofing (construction) (GOST 6617-76, with amendment of 1994)
bitumens oil road viscous (GOST 22245-90, with amendment of 1997)
roofing felt (GOST 3135-82 for roofing material)
NPG-210, T-13 fiberglass (for a stekloizol)
talc or talkomagnezit (GOST 21235-77, with amendment of 1989)
topping coarse-grained color (TU 21-27-94)
sand for construction works (GOST 8736-93, with amendment of 1998)
lime construction (GOST 9179-84, with amendment of 1994)
To impregnation it is applied fusible roofing or the BNK 40/80, 45/80, 45/90, 60/90 road bitumen. For drawing an integumentary layer the BNK 90/40, 90/30, 90/10 roofing bitumen is used.
Marking
According to the interstate standard:
the first letter in the marking "Р" designates "roofing material";
the second — a type of roofing material which happens roofing (it is designated "To"), lining ("P") or elastic ("E");
the third — type of external topping: "To" — coarse-grained, "M" — fine-grained, "H" — scaly, "П" — dust-like;
further the dash and figure of brand (weight of 1 sq.m) of a cardboard on the basis of which roofing material is made (the more than a figure follows, the cardboard is more dense, the roofing material is stronger).
