The screw is a replaceable working tool of a hydroborer.
Steel pipe with a spiral steel tape (flange) - such is an elementary design of the screw. The mechanism of its action is extremely simple: at immersion and rotation of the screw resistance of soil is transferred to a flange which brings soil to the surface. Force of resistance of soil can be rather big therefore for production of the case of the equipment only solid alloys are used.
It is accepted to allocate three main types of screws: standard, for work with rocky breeds and for drilling of frozen soil. The screw of a certain size and connection type approaches each hydroborer. The column of screws or the single continuous screw of that length which will be enough for realization of an objective is quite often used.
The threaded connection - one of possible options of combination of standard screws in a column. Other option - connection by means of "locks". Distinctions in a design of screws define a possibility of use of three - four - or six - sided "locks". The most effective work of a column manages to be reached when using six - sided "locks". Unlike the threaded connection they guarantee exact coincidence of spirals of a flange of screws therefore on all length of a column the continuous spiral is formed. It guarantees high quality of works for the minimum terms.
