Seams – Casings

Floors with a faltering polymeric covering because of existence of dredging and cement and sand couplers with various functions. They can be several types, but it, generally: static and dynamic seams you have to know well these seams because, being the weak place of a basis, they have to be eliminated before putting pitch.

Classification of seams

Construction seam

Broad seams

These seams guarantee the movement of structure as a result of change of temperature. Depending on the amount of flights they can even move to several centimeters therefore they have to be closed by mechanical seams or are covered with the film riveted on the one hand and free with another. They are easily recognized as they are the actual interruption of construction (two pilastr and two parts of the flanked floor).

Insulating seams

Limits vertical or base structural elements from floor level, such as pilastra or the bases of machines, and have to guarantee the vertical and torsion movements. In a type of the fact that near them heavy traffic in connection with existence of these obstacles is not allowed they can be closed elastomeric sealant.

Seams

Seams on a floor are cut out by the special car for cutting of seams after drawing a covering, carefully cleared by the vacuum cleaner. Inclusion of a special sutural bottom of the seam of the size corresponding to width of cutting and placed on the necessary depth. After imposing of an insulating tape sealant masks the polymeric tape Pavaflex/E or Pavaflex Mono.

Casings

Laying of an elastic perimetralny casing by means of Pavaflex

Monorange on average apprx. 3,0 mm, is suitable for connection of a floor and walls without formation of a corner where dirt can accumulate.
