1. Description
The self-adhesive apron for pipes of small diameter QuickSeam Conduit Flashing of production Firestone is specially intended for a waterproofing of the rigid constructional elements of round section with a diameter from 13 to 64 mm coming to a roof. It represents a rubber apron of conical shape with a self-adhesive tape on the lower surface of a flange. Before installation each QuickSeam Pipe Flashing apron is adjusted to a concrete element and cut off on the section, the corresponding necessary diameter of a pipe.
2. Preparation
The constructional element which is subject to a waterproofing with use of this material has to be cleared of an old waterproofing and foreign materials. Preparation of surfaces of EPDM of a membrane of RubberGard has to be made by QuickPrimePlus primer by means of QuickScrubber or QuickScrubber Plus adaptation. Use for these purposes of any other materials is not allowed.
3. Laying
Cut a glass along the upper edge of a ring of a waterproofing glass of QuickSeam Pipe Flashing corresponding to the pipe size. Install a glass and a clamping ring and process a circle of their contact by regional Lap Sealant sealant according to technical requirements and recommendations of the Firestone company.
4. Consumption rate
On 1 piece on each constructional element which is subject to a waterproofing in this way.
5. Packing / Storage / Expiration date
Packing: On 10 pieces in a cardboard box. The set included also worm clamps from stainless steel. Storage: To store in the sealed factory container at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. Not to allow hit of a direct sunlight until readiness for use. Expiration date: 12 months on condition of storage according to the above instructions. At influence of the increased temperatures the expiration date is reduced.
