Materials

Material of designs of projector masts and separate lightning rods carbonaceous steel of the classes C235,C245, C255 (3sp/ps-5) and low-alloyed steel of the class C345 (09G2S-12).

Designs of masts and lightning rods are executed with application of the unified reinforced concrete and steel elements of the VL support and substations. Calculation of a design of lighting masts on wind influences is made for seven wind areas according to SNIP-II-6-74 with a settlement temperature of t> - 40ºС.

Types of projector masts

Distinguish two main types of masts of lighting: reinforced concrete - the PERMANENT RESIDENCE and metal - PMS.

Separate lightning rods, similarly, are divided into MZh and MS.

Marking of the projector masts (PM), after the indication of type (With or), includes figures. They designate design height. So, for example PMS18,4 has height of 18,4 meters, MC26,2 - 26,2 meters.

Platforms for installation and service of searchlights and ladders for rise are developed unified for reinforced concrete and steel projector masts.

Fastening of metal platforms and supports under interception rods is carried out on assembly bolts with the subsequent obvarka of butt elements. Connection with a reinforced concrete rack is carried out through metal ogolovka, fixed on a rack.

Ladders fasten to racks by means of the collars located through 1,5-2m on rack height. Fixing in soil of reinforced concrete racks of masts and lightning rods is made according to the recommended schemes provided on sheet 3.407.9-172.1-20.

Steel masts and lightning rods are executed in the form of self-supporting racks of a trellised design and accepted from elements of support 1P110-2, 1P110-4 of new unification of the VL support of 110 kV.

The rack of masts and lightning rods are established on the bases from piles on a series 3.407.9-146 of the issue 2 or podnozhnik on a series 3.407.1-144 of the issue 1 according to the recommended schemes provided on sheets 3.407.9-172.1-17_3.407.9-172.1-19.

Protection of a metalwork against corrosion is made according to requirements Construction Norms and Regulations 2.03.11-85 "Protection of a building construction against corrosion", systems of "cold" galvanizing (Tsinol, Tsinol + ALPOL) and other systems in coordination with the customer are also used.
