Calculations in the START program, simplify coordination of the project with supervisory authorities (Rostekhnadzor, Glavsgosekspertiza), and also reduce expenses and time of commissioning.

• The accounting of friction in the sliding, directing, elastic and other support;
• The accounting of interaction of the pipeline with soil on sites of beskanalny laying. The nonlinear pliability of soil, a layer of polyurethane foam isolation and shock - absorbing pillows is considered. Variable depth of a zalozheniye and any tilt angle of sites is considered;

Programs of the START family are intended for calculation of durability and rigidity of the pipelines of different function having any configuration in space at static and cyclic loading, on seismic influences, and also thickness of walls of pipes and connecting details on pressure:

• Couple and hot water according to RD 10 - 249 - 98;
• Thermal networks according to GOST P 55596 - 2013 (instead of RD 10 - 400 - 01 and HUNDRED 10.001 - 2009), RD 10 - 400 - 01 (the document became outdated), CJJ/T 81 - 2013 (China);
• Technological pipelines oil processing, chemical, petrochemical, gas and other branches according to GOST 32388 - 2013 (instead of PTM 38.001 - 94 and CA 03 - 003 - 07) and PTM 38.001 - 94 (the document became outdated);
• Main gazo - and oil pipelines according to Construction Norms and Regulations 2.05.06 - 85 and the joint venture 36.13330.2012;
• Pipelines of different function from fibreglass according to ISO 14692 - 3: 2002;
• The appointed resource of technological pipelines according to GOST 32388 - 2013 and thermal networks according to GOST P 55596 - 2013;
• Otbrakovochny thickness of pipes and connecting details (branches, transitions, tees, caps) of technological pipelines according to requirements of GOST 32388 - 2013.

Means START pay off as the self - compensated pipelines in which compensation of temperature expansions is provided with flexibility of the most pipeline route, and pipelines with the special compensating devices executed in the form of bellows - sealed, lens, omental and other types of compensators. Pipelines practically of any complexity pay off:

• Elevated, in the channel, jammed in soil;
• Flat, any spatial, branched, with the closed contours;
• With various designs of trailer and intermediate support;
• Subject to various external influences (temperature expansion, the concentrated and distributed loadings, shift of support, a preliminary extension, a raspor from internal pressure, etc. );
• Working at averages and high temperatures (the effect of creep and a relaxation of tension according to norms is considered);
• From various materials: steel, from non - ferrous metals, from fibreglass;
• With internal excessive pressure as to, and over 10 MPas, and also with external excessive pressure (vacuum) - for such sites an inspection of local stability of walls is carried out;
• Calculation of several not connected pipelines in one file is possible.

In the START program for calculation of the pipeline there is a row of regulatory bases of the data providing additional conveniences during the work:

• "Materials" - contains physical properties of materials of pipes and elements of the pipeline;
• "Springs" - China power contains characteristics and a pliability of spring chains of elastic support of various loading capacity on OST 108.764.01 - 80, OST 24.125.109 - 01, MVN 049 - 63, MN 3958 - 62, LISEGA, WITZENMANN, NBT 47039 - 2013;
• "Fastenings of constant effort" - contains characteristics of fastenings of constant effort of WITZENMANN, NB/T 47038 - 2013
• "Soil" - contains various physicomechanical properties of soil;
• "Compensators" - contains characteristics of axial, angular, shift bellows - sealed and lens compensators of various producers;
• "Isolation" - contains sizes of scales of isolation depending on an insulating design, temperature and diameter of a pipe.

The settlement START program is released in four modifications differing at the price and opportunities:

• The START program - for the mass user;
• The START - Prof program - for the professionals solving bolsherazmerny problems and also for calculation of the long pipelines jammed in soil (in the presence of the option "START - Grunt");
• The START - Layt program - the facilitated version of the program intended for the educational purposes (it is delivered only in educational institutions);
• The START - Express program - the inexpensive product intended for the preliminary simplified calculations at a stage of designing of the pipeline.
• All modifications have equal opportunities regarding preparation of basic data and the analysis of results of calculation that provides big conveniences at their simultaneous use in local computer networks. Modifications differ with the most admissible quantity of degrees of freedom.

The START - Bazovy program allows to carry out calculations of pipelines of any configuration, but without sites of beskanalny laying in soil. Such opportunity appears in the presence of the option START - Grunt.

PROGRAMS START AND START - PROF CAN BE COMPLETED WITH ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

• "START - Grunt" - allows to make calculation of the pipeline with the sites jammed in soil (beskanalny laying) and also to estimate durability of polyurethane foam and penopolimineralny isolation;
• "START - Seysmika" - allows to make calculation of pipelines on seismic influences (only for elevated pipelines, a static method);
• "START - Gibkiye pipes" - for calculation on durability and definitions of loads of support for flexible polymeric pipes like "Izoprofleks", "Izoprofleks - A" and steel corrugated pipes like "Kasafleks";

• "START - Shtutser" - calculation of a pliability (rigidity) of knot of insert of the pipeline in vessels (devices). There is a possibility of automatic generation and an insert of non - standard fastening in START;
• "START - Stekloplastik" - Calculation on durability of pipelines from a stekloplasik according to ISO 14692 - 3: 2002;
• "START - Termoplasty" - Calculation of pipelines from the polymeric materials PE, PP, PB, PVC;
• "START - Zarubezhnye standards" - Calculation of pipelines for foreign normative documents: CJJ/T 81 - 2013 (China);
• "CTAPT - PLANT - 4D" - import of basic data from system of three - dimensional modeling of PLANT - 4D plants. Standard delivery includes the file with the templates allowing the user to convert the data created in PLANT - 4D on the basis of the Russian database on pipes, pipeline details and fittings;
• "CTAPT - PCF" - import of models of pipelines from the PlantSpace Design Series PCF format (import from PLANT - 4D is also possible, OMNI - Pipe, AutoPLANT 3D Piping, I - Sketch, CADWorx). For generation of the PCF files from PlantSpace ISOGEN interface delivered together with the PlantSpace system is used;
• "CTAPT - PDMS" - import to START of basic data from the reports created by the PDMS program;
• "CTAPT - PDMS - B" - bilateral data exchange with the AVEVA PDMS program during the work with PDMS and START on one personal computer;
• "START - COMPASS" - export of the settlement scheme (the axial line and nodal details) in KOMPAS - Grafik versions 5.x above;
• "START - Otkryty a format" - import of entrance data from an open format, export entrance yielded and results of calculation in an open format for joining of the START program with any computer - aided engineering systems of pipelines. The open format is a text file of a certain structure.

Additional options are delivered only together with the basic program (START - Bazovy, START Professional and Basic or START of Layt - Bazovy)
